The Gormiti series 2 toyline debuted in December 2005 in Italy. The toyline was eventually released in Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Czechia, Poland, Ukraine, UK, USA, Croatia, Serbia, Brazil and Denmark. A total of 35 new figures were released, for the Peoples of Earth, Forest, Sea, Air and Volcano. The Peoples of Magma and Lava were combined into the latter and weren't seen again until the Mystica re-releases of the Series 1 sculpts.

Packaged Releases

Series 2 Gormitis came packages in individual blind bags, carded blister two-packs, carded blister four-packs and boxed ten-packs. In the UK releases, the conceit of a single "hidden" Gormiti continued, with a chance for the secret character to be a rarer chase variant. Series 2 US blind releases introduced the "Magic Egg" conceit, which dissolved in water and hid a random Gormiti.

Playsets

Series 2 playsets with their gold figure variants

Series 2 saw the re-release of The Forest Refuge playset and introduced the Gorm Island, The Murena Den, The Volcano Mountain, The Cavern of Roscamar and Peak of the Eagle playsets. Each playset included exclusive gold figures, listed below:

Trivia

Series 2 was the second series released internationally, but was released much later in the USA and UK. This is due to the Energheia series being re-released in these territories as "Series 1".
